Section 101 is pleased to announce their work on the official website for the film, “Murder in the Front Row: The San Francisco Bay Area Thrash Metal Story.” 

The movie chronicles how the San Francisco music scene was critical to the development of thrash metal in the US. Featuring interviews and footage of members from Metallica, Exodus, Testament, Anthrax, Slayer and more, the artists talk about how pivotal the Bay Area in the early 80s was to the development of metal.

In partnership, the website features many behind-the-scenes photos, never-seen-before hand-drawn fliers created by the bands, extended movie trailer and much more. The site is a rabbit hole for any 80s metal fans.
