All you new romantics – have you heard INSTANT LOVE?

Sticking to their mission statement of  “staying true to the company’s vision of empowering independent artists in music,” Instant Records has released a series of digital singles by various label artists under the name “Instant Love.” A collection of classic love songs with a twist, the chosen songs are ones that have traditionally been sung by men about women; these songs are all reimagined with female vocalists.

The songs apply to mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, lovers and everything in between. INSTANT LOVE erases gender barriers and supports feminism, girl power and the LGBTQ community. As sisterhood anthems, the songs also offer empowerment and unity.

Released covers thus far include “Crazy Love” from Irma Thomas, “Peaceful Easy Feeling” covered by Tristen, “Trouble” by Adriana Louise, Fallulah’s version of “Light My Fire,” and “Kind Woman” interpreted by Erin Durant.
