Section 101 News

Section 101, a New York based company that delivers a dynamic web-based solution providing simple and effective tools for entertainment brands has launched a new micro site for the upcoming Nickelodeon film, Nicky Deuce at https://nickydeuce.com/

The film – aimed at the much coveted tween audience – is based on the book Nicky Deuce: Welcome to the Family by The Sopranos star Steven Schirripa and Charles Fleming. The TV movie, also staring Schirripa, will feature several cameos from the cast (including James Gandolfini, Tony Soprano himself!). The movie will air during Memorial Day weekend on May 27th on Nickelodeon.

Sixteen-year-old actor Noah Munck stars as Nicholas Borelli II, a nerdy teen who morphs in to the much cooler “Nicky Deuce.” Nicholas gets caught up in the adventure of a life time when his plans to attend math camp are derailed and he ends up spending the summer in Brooklyn with his Uncle (Schirripa). Along the way he mistakenly ends up earning the rep of a tough guy, uncovers some family secrets and learns a lot about himself.

Working with MarVista Entertainment, who co-produced the film with Nickelodeon, a full website supporting the TV movie will be launched by Section 101 in mid May. Packed with photos, videos and behind-the-scenes scoop, the full site for Nicky Deuce will be a great warm up to the movie event.
