DURAN DURAN ON TOUR

After having to scrap their tour due to lead singer Simon Le Bon's vocal troubles, 2011 ended on a high note for Duran Duran, with their album, ALL YOU NEED IS NOW, and tour, placing on several "Best of" lists for the year. Since the band had to re-schedule both US and European dates this past summer, something they'd never had to do in their storied 30 year career, Duran Duran weren't sure where they'd end up come December, 2011. Thankfully, Le Bon rebounded quickly, and after 4 "warm up" shows in the UK in September, found that they would be able to resume touring.

A successful US stint with openers Neon Trees followed, culminating in a sold-out date at Madison Square Garden in October. From there Duran Duran circled back to the UK for home town December dates that included sold-out stops in Birmingham, Manchester and the O2 Arena in London among others. The band have a slate of dates scheduled in Europe for 2012, and have just announced shows in Australia and Asia. They plan to add more dates, keeping them on the road throughout the year.
