DURAN DURAN
Duran Duran, pioneers of music video, has released a nine and a half minute film for their song, “Girl Panic!,” directed by Grammy Award winning director Jonas Akerlund. The video, filmed this summer at the Savoy Hotel in London, reunites some of the original super models, including Naomi Campbell (who “plays” singer Simon Le Bon, Eva Herizgova (who plays keyboardist Nick Rhodes), Cindy Crawford (who plays bassist John Taylor), Helena Christensen (who plays drummer Roger Taylor) and Yasmin Le Bon (who plays “the guitarist”).
The video premiered on November 7th at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards show at Claridges in London. The video then debuted online on Vevo.com on November 8th. “Girl Panic!” now has over 4 million views and counting!

KINA GRANNIS
We are thrilled that Kina Grannis, whose new website is hosted by Section 101, has won an MTV O Award for Best Web Born Artist. Krannis appeared on the web streamed Awards’ telecast, thanking fans for all their support, telling them “It is 100% because of you that I get to do what I love every single day…this is not my victory, this is our victory!”
The award show, which took place on October 31st, celebrates the best in digital music culture. It was the 2nd Annual O Awards (the first streamed live in April) and featured performances by Robyn, The Band Perry and Mac Miller, among others. Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato and Travie McCoy were among the presenters, with Yoko Ono presenting a special tribute to Steve Jobs.

BUSH
Section 101-powered artist BUSH was in New York City in October for an IHEARTRADIO event at the PC Richards Theater in Tribeca. The band – Gavin Rossdale, Robin Goodridge, Chris Traynor and Corey Britz – ripped thru an incredible set, performing songs “Sound of Winter” from the band’s latest release, SEA OF MEMORIES, “Everything Zen,” “Machinehead” and more. The ecstatic invite-only crowd sang along to every note, thrilled that the band were back on the road and supporting their first album in ten years. Performer Magazine reviewed a recent BUSH show stating that, “(the) alt rockers are in top form, having never missed a beat.”

TODD ALSUP
Todd Alsup, whose website [
https:// toddalsup.com/] is powered by Section 101 technology, will be playing at St. Hilda and St. Hugh’s private school in New York City's Upper West Side as part of their family music series. Under the direction of Esther Lee, the newly appointed director of performing arts, the series serves to get students excited about music by introducing them to various musical genres. The school has booked several talented New York musicians whose songs can be enjoyed by all ages. Todd is a perfect fit, with his amazing energy, upbeat melodies and can't-help-but-clap-along songs. Todd will be performing at the school on November 29th.
Singer, songwriter, pianist Todd Alup’s self-titled debut album, which was met with praise by critics such from Billboard magazine to Bob Lefsetz, is available for download on iTunes.
JIMMY LLOYD
The Jimmy Lloyd Songwriter Showcase and Planet LA Records hosted a concert at The Gibson/Baldwin Showroom in New York City to bring attention to missing and exploited persons in the United States. The show, attended by Ed and Elizabeth Smart, was filmed for air on “Good Morning America.”
