SECTION 101 CEO LIZ LEAHY GOES BACK TO SCHOOL

Section 101 and Quantum Collective co-founder Liz Leahy is going back to school this weekend – for a panel on Entrepreneurship and to help celebrate the Columbia Business School’s centennial

On Friday, April 15th, Liz will be participating in the Entrepreneurship: Identifying, Valuing and Capturing Opportunity panel moderated by Vince Ponzo (Senior Director of Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center) in URIS 301 at the Columbia Business School. The mission of the Lang Center is to “instill an entrepreneurial mindset in all Business School students while providing them with the tools, education and resources needed to pursue their entrepreneurial ambitions, whatever they may be,” and the panel partners with this way of thinking. Liz, and fellow speakers Alex Poon, Jonathan Sherry and Ian Sigalow will talk to students about the best, and smartest, ways to recognize and maximize entrepreneurship opportunities.

In addition to the panel, Liz, a Columbia Business School graduate, has been part of the school’s centennial celebrations. Beginning in August of last year, the School began to honor a century of success by hosting parties, activities, speakers and more. Liz contributed to many of the events, and as an active alumnus she sits on the advisory board of the Columbia Business School: Eugene Lang Entrepreneurship Center, and mentors students. Liz happily continues to support the incredible education offered at Columbia.
