INNOVATIVE GROUP OF COMPANIES FORM QUANTUM COLLECTIVE TO CHANGE FUTURE OF BRAND ALIGNMENT

Collective Aims to Expand Artist and Brand Outreach Through Collaboration

Los Angeles, CA, March 1, 2012: A group of innovative entertainment, new media and consumer brands has announced the formation of Quantum Collective, a multi-platform movement that aims to expand awareness for artists and brands through their collaborative efforts. The Collective is comprised of successful businesses coming together to support their common goal of changing the future of branded entertainment. Together, they have extensive experience in artist and content development, digital and social media marketing, event production and cross-branding exposure.

Quantum Collective charter members are:

Planet LA Records, an indie label and event organizer that represents emerging bands and global artists, and holds events at leading venues, including the Palms Casino, Troubadour, Gibson Guitar showrooms, SXSW and festivals, in collaboration with brands, charities and media partners

Manic Monkee Marketing, whose clients include Jakprints, Stageit, Songfreaks, Beatport Events, The Rachael Ray Feedback parties and others, and also manages bands and produces and executes events for many companies.


RipTide Music is a creative Los Angeles based licensing and publishing company representing the albums of over 200+ artists, bands, and composers from around the world for placement in major feature Films, TV, Movie Trailers, Video Games, and Advertising.


Section 101 delivers a dynamic web-based platform that provides simple and effective solutions for music and entertainment brands to manage and maximize their online presence.

On February 9, Quantum Collective announced its vision for the future of brand alignment during Grammy® Week at a pre-Grammy® party. The event, a benefit for VH1’s Save The Music Foundation, featured performances by YouTube sensations Cimorelli, Belgium’s Milow, Grammy winning artists Tia Carrere and Daniel Ho, and a surprise performance by multi-platinum artist Daniel Bedingfield. The Belgian Consulate General, along with brand partners Duval beer, Guylian and Neuhaus chocolates, Chivas Regal and technology partners Viddy, QWiPS and iBand.me, hosted the event. Attendees included executives from talent agencies, major labels, movie studios, music publishers and celebrity guests.

The Collective’s first major initiative begins with the “Southwest Invasion” in Austin, TX during the South By Southwest Interactive, Film and Music Conference and Festival. The “Southwest Invasion” includes a series of artist showcases at downtown Austin venues, including Rusty’s and Chuggin’ Monkey, as well as a host of industry mixers and an invite-only press luncheon at a private house in downtown Austin, dubbed “Section 101 Launch Pad.” The keystone event of the “Southwest Invasion” will take place on the Rooftop Plaza at Whole Foods Market (Lamar) featuring live performances by Metro Station, Graffiti6, Rachael Yamagata, The Parlotones and other leading artists.
